Meet Kim Wilhelm, Owner of File the Pile
I moved from Upstate, NY to Charlotte, NC in 2002 and worked in the financial services industry for more than two decades as an Analyst and Chief Investment Officer. Reflecting on my career, I realized that my passion for organizing was illustrated throughout the years. This included organizing clients’ financial accounts with significant attention to detail as well as implementing efficient filing systems for both electronic and paper files.
While organizing provides me a meaningful sense of personal accomplishment, I also find rewarding satisfaction in seeing the benefit it provides to clients. I am able to complete projects that I enjoy, while helping clients live their best life by having the time and energy to focus on what matters most to them.
The Mission Statement and Core Values for File the Pile are qualities that I adhere to throughout my personal and professional life. Privacy and confidentiality are top priorities with my clients. I am a member of NAPO (the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals) and follow the NAPO Code of Ethics.
On a personal level, I enjoy spending time outdoors and activities such as hiking, running, and Yoga. I volunteer in the community and participate annually in the Fight for Air Climb, climbing 50 floors and 883 stairs in support of the American Lung Association. I also enjoy traveling to new places, with favorites including Costa Rica and Italy.
