About Us
Meet Kim Wilhelm, CIMA® Owner of File the Pile
I moved from Upstate, NY to Charlotte, NC in 2002 and worked in the financial services industry for more than two decades as an Analyst and Chief Investment Officer. I earned a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation in January 2001 through the Investments & Wealth Institute at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Reflecting on my career, I realized that my passion for organizing was illustrated throughout the years. This included organizing clients’ financial accounts with significant attention to detail as well as implementing efficient filing systems for both electronic and paper files.

Over time, my work as a professional organizer has naturally evolved to include a wide range of financial organizing services. I assist clients with bill payment management, investment record review, coordination with CPAs and financial advisors, and bookkeeping support.

While organizing provides me a meaningful sense of personal accomplishment, I also find rewarding satisfaction in seeing the benefit it provides to clients. I am able to complete projects that I enjoy, while helping clients live their best life by having the time and energy to focus on what matters most to them.
